Running routes
Bruges is a stunning city to explore on foot—and what better way to do it than with a morning run through cobbled streets, along peaceful canals, and past centuries of history? As your host, I love running and have created a few carefully planned routes that take the guesswork out of your jog. Some of our guests have already followed these routes and were thrilled with the experience.
11,80km

The most popular run in Bruges. You will undoubtedly meet fellow runners on the Bruges Ramparts, at the mills and the Stil Ende.
8,60 km

If you really want to push the pace, you can opt to run to the Steenbrugge Bridge via the canal and back.
14,50 km

A lovely run between the fields towards Damme to then run back to Bruges via the canal and the Lamme Goedzak. Hopefully you won’t have a headwind on the way back!
4,30 km

A short run along Bruges ramparts, the mills and the beautiful Langerei. Watch out for the cobblestones!

When I travel, I always take my running shoes with me. For me, running is the best way to truly get to know a region—beyond the usual tourist spots. It lets me discover hidden corners, feel the rhythm of the streets, and experience the local atmosphere up close. Every run becomes a little adventure, and I’m excited to share that experience with our guests.
