De Drie Koningen has an automated payment system set up through Stripe. Once customers provide their credit card information for a reservation, Stripe automatically processes payments on the scheduled dates according to the cancellation policy. This automation simplifies the payment process for both the business and its customers.

Stripe is known for its strict security measures and PCI compliance. When customers provide their card details, Stripe validates and securely stores this information. Importantly, these details are not shared with 'De Drie Koningen,' ensuring a high level of security and privacy for the customers' financial information.

When to pay?

Please note: this only applies to direct reservations via this website.
For reservations via OTAs (Online Travel Agencies), the provisions of the OTA apply.

First payment

60 days before arrival

  • 50% of the total rental amount of the apartment
Second payment

14 days before arrival

  • 50% of the total rental amount of the apartment
(Third payment)

When reserving an apartment, our PMS will set up automatic payments on the appropriate days. If such a payment is made, an e-mail will be sent for confirmation.

  • If the reservation was made on an OTA (Online Travel Agency), you should cancel the reservation on the relevant OTA.

Occasionally, we are asked to pay the full rental amount all at once because of a favourable exchange rate for the tenant.

If you were to cancel and would be entitled to 50% or 100% of the total rental amount, we will refund everything including the payment partner’s transaction fees.

  • If the reservation was made on an OTA (Online Travel Agency), you should follow their payment agreements.

As per our policy, modifications made within 60 days of the day of arrival (STANDARD cancellation policy) or 1 day after reservation (LTR cancellation policy) unfortunately do not qualify for a refund. Moving up a reservation is not possible. Should you decide to cancel your reservation, we will provide you with a cancellation document, which you can use for your travel insurance claim.
