Cancellation policies

When you make a reservation, you are always offered 1 option to cancel: the STANDARD formula.

Please note: This only applies to direct reservations via this website. For reservations via OTAs (Online Travel Agencies), the provisions of the OTA apply.

STANDARD

  • 30 days and more before check-in

    Cancellation is free of charge. The full rent will be waived.

  • Between 30 days and 24 hours before check-in

    50% of the total rental amount is due. This amount has already been debited from your credit card on the 30th day before arrival. The remaining amount will be waived. You will receive a confirmation of your cancellation (travel insurance).

  • The last 24 hours before check-in

    A cancellation up to 24 hours before the possible check-in time of the reservation (13:00). Two deposits have already been made. 50% of the total rental amount on the 30th day before arrival and 50% of the total rental amount 24h before arrival. You will receive a confirmation of your cancellation (travel insurance).

1. Will I be kept informed if a payment was made?

When reserving an apartment, our PMS will set up automatic payments on the appropriate days. If such a payment is made, an e-mail will be sent for confirmation.

2. How do I cancel?

  • If booked directly, please send an e-mail to info@ddk.be
  • If the reservation was made on an OTA (Online Travel Agency), you should cancel the reservation on the relevant OTA.

3. Can I pay all in once?

Occasionally, we are asked to pay the full rental amount all at once because of a favourable exchange rate for the tenant.

  • If booked directly, this is possible. Please send an e-mail to info@ddk.be
    If you were to cancel and would be entitled to 50% or 100% of the total rental amount, we will refund everything including the payment partner’s transaction fees.
  • If the reservation was made on an OTA (Online Travel Agency), you should follow their payment agreements.
