Things to do in the neighbourhood
St. Giles Church (310m)
In this church many of the great Bruges artists have been buried. These include Hans Memling, Lanceloot Blondeel and Pieter Pourbus. The church originally dates from the 13th century and its exterior is a fine example of the robust Brick Gothic style.
Augustine Canal (240m)
The Augustine Canal is a little-known but enchanting canal, perfect for a heavenly stroll. The name of the canal refers to the Augustinian monastery, which has now disappeared.
Jan van Eyck Square (470m)
A lively port where busy traders assembled from all over Europe, and you could hear every imaginable language. Today the square is dominated by the stately presence of the world-famous master painter Jan van Eyck.
Bath & Barley (230m)
Bath and Barley is the Belgian beer spa. You will be immersed in all what is great and good about beer, literally and figuratively.

If you make a reservation at De Drie Koningen there will be no tourist taxes. This is because tourist taxes are not applied on holiday rentals in Bruges. However, this is the case if you make a reservation at a hotel or bed & breakfast. Then you would pay 3.75€ (excluding VAT) per person per night.
