Parking your car near Acadia

A smooth and stress-free arrival at holiday home Acadia depends greatly on where you leave your car. Since the house is located in a quiet residential neighborhood, guests have several convenient and secure options nearby. For example, some prefer underground facilities that offer extra security, while others choose free roadside spaces within walking distance.

To help you plan ahead, we’ve gathered a list of the best nearby options below. This way, you can focus on enjoying your stay from the moment you arrive.

Short-term unloading

You’re welcome to stop briefly in front of the accommodation to unload your luggage. However, we recommend doing so quickly to avoid blocking the road—especially if you’re traveling with others or carrying heavy bags. For safety, please remember to switch on your hazard lights while unloading.

Parking Centrum-Station

Near the main train station, a spacious lot allows for all-day use at a lower rate. Additionally, a shuttle bus runs regularly to bring you close to Acadia, stopping at Molenbrug, which is just a short walk away.

Public road - Center

In the center of Bruges, leaving your car between 09:00 and 20:00 is possible for a fee, and this rule applies on public holidays and Sundays as well. However, this option is certainly not recommended for long-term stays due to time limits.

Just a few minutes’ walk from Acadia, the ring road (R30) offers free roadside spaces where you can safely leave your car for longer periods. I’ve marked the nearest free zone in pink on the map. From there, it’s about a 750-meter walk to the holiday home, and I’ve also indicated the walking route to help you find your way easily.
