First and foremost are the owners of this beautiful property who were on site when we arrived, both Tom and his wife are very welcoming. The property is very old and only a stones throw from the heart of Bruges it has been in Tom's family a very long time intitially as a home and now as a fantastic boutique complex of appartments. Our appartment was on the first floor which has been beautifully renovated to a very high standard but maintaining many origional features. The apartment boasts a modern kitchen, bathroom, large living area and two large bedrooms. The stairs to our apartment are steep and curved, I wouldn't recommend to someone with limited mobility (both myself and friends are 60 years old and managed fine). This was my second visit to Bruges, the first time we stayed in a very nice hotel but having found this gem of an apartment we shall be staying here on subsequent visits, I cannot recommend highly enough, oh and there is a pool too.

Such a great place! Perfectly located and beautiful. Comfortable beds and a lovely living/dining room to hang out in. It felt like Tom had thought of everything and the attention to detail was excellent. We would love to stay again!

This is a great place in a very quiet street five minutes from the Market Square. The facility was immaculately maintained and the amenities were great. It actually had a small but well-maintained swimming pool, which was nice after a day of walking. Freshly ground coffee was a treat every morning. The detailed DDK guide in the room was incredibly useful. It told us everything we needed to know. A smaller but great feature was the DVD collection, so you could enjoy yourself in the evening if you wanted to, especially in combination with the well-stocked honour bar. Highly recommended.
