Adjacent to the swimming pool is a comfortable outdoor seating area. This spot provides the perfect place for relaxation. Guests can unwind here, soak up the sun, and share their Bruges experiences with fellow travelers. This unique facility enhances the overall experience at De Drie Koningen. It combines relaxation with the charm of a historic city.

Location

The swimming pool at the holiday rentals De Drie Koningen is ideally located in the heart of Bruges. It offers a serene oasis amidst the city’s historic charm. Nestled within the private courtyard of our complex, the pool provides a tranquil escape. Guests can enjoy both privacy and relaxation.

All guests of De Drie Koningen have access to the swimming pool. It is situated in the communal garden at Twijnstraat 17. The St-Jan apartment, located on the ground floor, is just a few steps away from the pool. Guests staying at the St-Donaas, St-Niklaas, or St-Jacob (Twijnstraat 13) apartments can also enjoy this facility. They can use the access code provided.

Swimming pool rules

According to house rule 10:

  • The swimming pool may only be used between 9:00 (9 AM) and 20:00 (8 PM).
  • Children must be accompanied by an adult.
  • Diving in the pool is not allowed.
  • Appropriate swimwear is required.
  • No glass, food or drinks at the pool.
  • Any infringement gives rise to a compensation of 125.00 €.
  • This can also lead to an early forced departure without any financial compensation.

The swimming pool is located in a common area in the middle of De Drie Koningen. All apartments surround this communal garden. Therefore, if someone dives into the pool at night and screams from the cold, it could wake up our 32 guests. Moreover, the noise of the splash might disturb the neighbors.

Swimming pool temperature

The outdoor swimming pool at the holiday rentals De Drie Koningen offers a delightful retreat. It is warmed to enhance your swimming experience. Based on samples from recent years, we can provide an estimated temperature range for each period. However, please note that these figures are approximate since we do not control the weather. The swimming pool is heated by a heat pump. This pump utilizes energy generated by our solar panels. Consequently, we ensure an eco-friendly approach to maintaining comfortable temperatures.

  • During the spring months of April to May, you can expect the pool temperature to range between 20°C to 26°C (68°F to 79°F). As the days get longer and the sun’s intensity increases, the pool warms up. This offers a refreshing dip in a pleasantly warm environment.

  • In the summer months from June to August, the pool temperature typically rises to between 24°C to 29°C (75°F to 84°F). This period usually sees the highest temperatures. It is perfect for a cooling swim after a day of exploring or lounging under the summer sun.
