Cancellation policies

When the following holiday homes are reserved, one cancellation policy applies.

Please note: This only applies to direct reservations via this website. For reservations via OTAs (Online Travel Agencies), the provisions of the OTA apply.

Cancellation policies at holiday rentals in Bruges

STANDARD CA (Clarissa & Acadia)

NO CANCELLATION FEE

> 30 days before arrival

  • Cancellations more than 30 days before the arrival date.
  • Cancellation is free of charge. The full rent will be waived.
50% CANCELLATION FEE

> 7 days before arrival

  • For cancellations between 30 days and 7 days before the arrival date.
  • 50% of the total rental amount is due. This amount has already been debited from your credit card on the 30th day before arrival. The remaining amount will be waived. You will receive a confirmation of your cancellation (travel insurance).
100% CANCELLATION FEE

< 7 days before arrival

  • A cancellation up to 7 days before the possible check-in time of the reservation (13:00). Two deposits have already been made. 50% of the total rental amount on the 30th day before arrival and 50% of the total rental amount 7 days before arrival. You will receive a confirmation of your cancellation (travel insurance).

When reserving an apartment, our PMS will set up automatic payments on the appropriate days. If such a payment is made, an e-mail will be sent for confirmation.

  • If booked directly, please send an e-mail to info@ddk.be
  • If the reservation was made on an OTA (Online Travel Agency), you should cancel the reservation on the relevant OTA.

Occasionally, we are asked to pay the full rental amount all at once because of a favourable exchange rate for the tenant.

If you were to cancel and would be entitled to 50% or 100% of the total rental amount, we will refund everything including the payment partner’s transaction fees.

  • If the reservation was made on an OTA (Online Travel Agency), you should follow their payment agreements.

As per our policy, modifications made within 60 days of the day of arrival (STANDARD cancellation policy) or 1 day after reservation (LTR cancellation policy) unfortunately do not qualify for a refund. Moving up a reservation is not possible. Should you decide to cancel your reservation, we will provide you with a cancellation document, which you can use for your travel insurance claim.
